How to Treat Sinus Infections Naturally
Posted By Dr. Ben Kim on Jul 31, 2006Hi Dr. Kim,
I've been struggling with a sinus infection for several months. I believe it is an infection because I don't have congestion, but do have drainage and it's giving me very bad breath. I also have pain in my lower sinus cavities when I press on them. And occasionally, I can feel a bubbling sensation in my lower sinuses.
I fasted for 3 days several weeks ago hoping to get the healing process moving and have been sticking to a pretty good diet since then. But so far I haven't seen any improvement. I recently went and sat in a sauna and it seemed to help while I was there. I plan on going several more times.

Natural Treatment Plan For Jaw Pain
Posted By Dr. Ben Kim on Feb 20, 2006Jaw Pain Natural TreatmentSince beginning private practice ten years ago, I have treated a number of cases of jaw pain and dysfunction. During my early years of being in practice, I treated most cases with a carefully applied manual adjustment to the temporo-mandibular joint, also known as the jaw joint, found in front of each ear. This is the protocol that I learned as an intern from a supervising clinician.

How to Treat and Prevent Shoulder Impingement Syndrome
Posted By Dr. Ben Kim on Jan 15, 2006Shoulder impingement syndrome is a name given to several different conditions that involve inflammation of tendons and/or ligaments in the shoulder region.
If you are not familiar with shoulder impingement syndrome, please take a moment to use your left hand to locate your right collar bone, the bone that borders the top of your right chest wall. Once you locate your collar bone, follow it towards your right shoulder area until you feel a bony protuberance that sits at the top of your upper right arm. You can confirm that you've reached this bony protuberance by going slightly past it, at which point you will find that there is no more bone, only your shoulder (deltoid) muscle and the flesh that lies on top of it.
