NeedleFood: A Gathering Place for Knitters
Just a friendly shout-out to Michelle and Mike Tom of New Zealand for creating a lovely gathering place for knitters from all over the globe.
Their site is NeedleFood, and they specialize in offering hand-dyed yarns in the most lovely colour combinations that you can and can't imagine.
If you're passionate about knitting or know someone who's a bit nutty about specially dyed yarns, be sure to visit their site by clicking on their banner here:
And yes, these are just a few of the custom colours that Michelle - the head chef behind these delicious creations - has come up with.
Also, if you'd like to get to know one of the wittiest families that Margaret and I are proud to call good friends, be sure to check out Michelle's blog here:

Is it wrong that I gave this entry five stars? :)
Thanks Ben! I think we owe you a pair of handknit socks.

Just what I was after. The socks, I mean. :) Hope the two of you and the kids make it to Canada again soon.
I'll be sure to mention this post in our next newsletter. I have a hunch that there are some serious knitters within our readership, and near as I can tell, your custom yarns are one of a kind and near impossible to find anywhere else. When the boys are a little older, I think Margaret will be joining your sock club, should you ever be able to take on more members!
Try to get some rest here and there...
