Premium Coconut Milk Powder - 1.75 pounds
This premium coconut milk powder makes it super easy to make your own healthy coconut milk. Just combine equal parts of warm or hot water with this premium coconut milk powder in a jar, close tight, and give it a good shake. The result is a delicious, clean, and rich coconut milk that's perfect for drinking on its own, or to use with cereals and any dishes that call for milk.
My wife Margaret just loves this coconut milk powder, as she has long wanted to find a source of coconut milk without any preservatives - almost all varieties of canned coconut milk come with some preservatives.
If you use less water, you can use this premium coconut milk powder to make your own coconut cream.
Both coconut milk and coconut cream make excellent additions to smoothies, desserts, sauces, and dishes that call for real coconut goodness, like coconut curry vegetables.
Our coconut milk powder is made from pasteurized and spray dried natural extract of coconut kernel. Because it's made with pure coconut, it's naturally sweet, and is rich in healthy fatty acids that your body can use to nourish all of your cell membranes.
Please note: Our coconut milk powder contains 0.5 to 5% anti-caking agent, which is maltodextrin from rice or tapioca. It also contains trace quantities of sodium caseinate (1% or less) and/or tricalcium phosphate (typically less than 0.05%). Our Indonesian manufacturer will not divulge the exact formula since it is a proprietary formulation. Most coconut milk powders produced for retail distribution contain 15% or more maltodextrin in addition to sodium caseinate.
There are no preservatives, sweeteners or other ingredients. It is not possible to make this product without employing a drying agent of some type since it would turn into a gooey mess rather than a powder.
Comes in a wide-mouth half gallon jug containing 1.75 lbs of premium coconut milk powder.

Health Benefits of Coconut
Although coconut's reputation suffered a great deal in the 80's and 90's due to its high saturated fatty acid content and the widely promoted belief that saturated fatty acids are bad for health, today, leading scientists, nutritionists, and doctors agree that saturated fatty acids are needed for optimal health, and that eating coconuts can help your health in many ways.
Coconut may speed up your metabolism and increase your energy levels.
It’s true that about 92 percent of the fatty acids in coconut are saturated. What many doctors have overlooked for years is that over two-thirds of these saturated fatty acids are medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA). MCFAs are different from other varieties of saturated fatty acids in that as soon as they enter your bloodstream, they are taken to your liver where they are converted to energy. While other dietary fats and even excess carbohydrates can be stored as fat in your cells, the MCFAs found in coconut provide an almost immediate source of energy and may actually speed up your metabolism.
Because of its potential ability to speed up metabolism, coconut is a good food choice for people with sluggish thyroid glands, as well as for people who find it difficult to shed unwanted weight.
Coconut may soothe digestive problems.
Many people who have suffered with inflammatory conditions of the intestines, like Crohn’s disease, have successfully used coconut for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Coconut's ability to help improve the balance of microorganisms in the intestines is likely another reason why people who suffer with digestive disorders benefit from using it on a regular basis.
Here is a summary of what eating coconut may do for your health:
Improve your energy
Reduce your risk of developing heart disease
Reduce your risk of developing cancer
Improve your ability to digest foods and absorb nutrients
Promote weight loss and maintenance of your ideal weight
Help prevent bacterial, yeast, fungal, and viral infections
Support and enhance your immune system
Help regulate your blood sugar and prevent or control diabetes
Help prevent osteoporosis
Coconut oil does NOT do any of the following:
Does NOT contribute to heart disease
Does NOT contribute to a tendency to gain weight
Does NOT increase blood cholesterol
Does NOT promote platelet stickiness or blood clot formation
I felt some dizzy.I don't know why?
I wonder why the others are enjoying it,but not me.
and there's no return policy.
P.S. Hint: don't try to mix the powder in cold water from the fridge. It ain't gonna work :-) Otherwise, it mixes easily with just a few whisks of fork.
About one tablespoon of coconut milk powder makes a good cup of coconut milk. But you can adjust the amount you use to produce your desired consistency, from a light milk to a rich cream. I hope this helps!
