8 Essential Strategies For Academic Success

In the summer of 2005, I wrote a short book that details how I went from being an average university student to the top of my class.

The book is called 8 Essential Strategies For Academic Success.

Changing the momentum of my academic career didn't happen overnight.

It happened through careful planning that brought into consideration the following:

  • Specific learning skills
  • Study habits
  • Writing skills
  • All of the mistakes that I made during my first two years of university
  • My physical and mental health

If you know someone who needs guidance and inspiration to turn his or her academic career around this coming school year, I encourage you to learn more about my book.

The first printing sold out within five months. The second printing arrived from the bindery yesterday, just in time for those who have requested copies for the new school year.

Learning how to be an effective learner is the single most important skill that I have ever developed; it has shaped every aspect of my life.

I really hope that the information in this book empowers every student who reads it as much as it empowered me.

Hello Dr. Kim!
I'm a grade 12 student, in Canada, and I read your book about the eight essential strategies for academic success. It was very inspiring that I can do so much better than I already am! I went from a 75% average to a 90% average by using the techniques in your book. Thank you so much for writing it! It made my life a whole lot easier...
