Wow this couple is so inspiring. I will use their ideas on gardening this year and look forward to a bumper crop of integrated planting. We already plant our squash and flowers together with success but would like to now add herbs and teas into the mix. Two years ago we unplugged the cloths dryer, stove and refrigerator. We use a two plate burner and a small camping frig. Cloths are dried in the sun. Our power bill dropped by 75 per cent. Not all garden crops ripen at the same time but when each crop ripens we can all we need and eat the rest. As the world around us is becoming so unstable we have become more independent of it.
