How to Make a Creamy Dairy-Free Salad Dressing and Dip

I often suggest that clients with any chronic, degenerative condition try a dairy-free diet, as over the years, I've found that most people suffer (sometimes unknowingly) when they ingest casein, a protein found in dairy.

In turn, I'm often asked about dairy-free substitutes, like a healthy creamy salad dressing or dip. To which I share this recipe, rich in a number of health-enhancing nutrients, including healthy fatty acids, vitamin E, selenium, and helpful fiber. - Ben Kim

To make this delicious creamy dressing, you will need:

1 cup of raw sunflower seeds
1/2 clove of garlic
Juice of 1/4 of a lemon
1 teaspoon of raw honey (optional)
Sea salt, to taste
Water

Blend all ingredients, adding water slowly until desired consistency is reached. Try this mouthwatering creamy dressing with a fresh vegetable salad, steamed vegetables, or as a dip for a veggie platter.

Don't forget to season with sea salt, to taste. There's a huge difference in flavor with and without a bit of sea salt.
