Just a brief post to share some information on a Japanese Chef's Knife that I recently gifted to myself and shared at our Instagram page.

With this type of Japanese steel, it's best to use a stone for sharpening rather than conventional knife sharpening gadgets. Here's the sharpening stone that I purchased along with this knife:
