General Preparedness Stockpile List

In the event that an emergency requires that we stay at home for an extended period of time, it's prudent to have a stockpile of everyday essentials, enough to meet the needs of a household for at least three weeks.  What follows are some suggestions for what to keep in storage in the event that we need to quarantine ourselves at home. 

Groceries:

Canned Soups
Canned Chili
Canned Baked Beans
Canned Vegetables
Canned Tuna
Canned Salmon
Grains - Rice, Quinoa, Buckwheat, Oats
Cereals low in sugar
Crackers
Nuts
Seeds
Nut and Seed Butters
Jam
Pasta
Pasta Sauce
Fruit Cups in fruit juice without added sugar
Dried Fruit without added sugar - Mango, Pineapple, Dates
Unsweetened Almond milk
Drinking Water
Oil - Coconut, Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

Other Supplies for General Preparedness:

Food Supplements
Protein Powder
Needed Medication, Prescription and Over-The-Counter
Toiletries
Toilet Tissue
Wipes
Feminine Hygiene Products
Soap
Batteries
Flashlights
Matches
Pet food
Pet medication

Excellent reminder that it's mostly things you already have. . . I think 1/2 gallon of water per person per day is also excellent to have on hand. FEMA list is here https://www.fema.gov/media-library/assets/documents/90354

Thank you for this list...i can add a couple things to this list - frozen vegetables like brocolli, peas, beans etc.
Also i would add dried lentils for curries and beans such as mung which can be sprouted at home.
I was also looking at freezing a 2/3 individual milk bags and some packs of unsweetened yogurt as well...

Water filtration pitcher
Powdered milk
Meat jerky
Dehydrated soups

Kindles &/or Ebook readers + Chargers,
Phones + Chargers
Laptops + Chargers
Books, Cards etc.
Kids toys etc.
