Happy Days Oatmeal Recipe


Please note that quantities listed make one serving.


1/2 cup of quick-cook steel-cut oats
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
Pinch of sea salt
Pinch of cinnamon
1/2 of a small apple or any other fruit, cubed
1 tablespoon of hemp seed hearts
1 tablespoon of ground almonds
Berries (optional)


1. Combine oats and almond milk in a pot and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, stirring regularly. Add sea salt and cinnamon.

2. When the oats are close to being ready (4-5 minutes), add apple cubes, give everything a few more stirs, then transfer to serving bowl.

3. Top with hemp seeds, ground almonds, and berries if you have some on hand. Sliced bananas go nicely as well. For those who prefer more sweetness, add a drizzle of a quality honey.
