Several years ago, my dear late friend Harold Hoffman shared with me his interest in supporting Kiva, an international not-for-profit organization whose mission is to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty.
By lending $25 or more through Kiva, anyone can help a borrower pursue education, start or grow a business, access basic resources for survival, and realize their potential.
It's worth noting that every dollar that is lent through Kiva goes to funding loans for people looking to sustainably take care of themselves.
