If you enjoy the occasional treat that you can't find growing in a garden, these delightful Korean rice cakes are worth trying.

Called Green Tea Mochi, they have a jelly-like exterior that is made with glutinous rice powder and potato powder, and a sweet bean filling. Green tea powder is a part of both the outer jelly and inner bean paste, and most people add a bit of sugar and vegetable oil to the bean filling.

You can find these lovely treats at Korean food markets, usually in the refrigerated section. They're also available at Amazon: Green Tea Mochi

If you happen to find some Green Tea Mochi cakes, please consider posting and tagging me at Instagram or Facebook - I'd love to see the variety of rice cakes out there.
