The Widening Gap Between the Ultra Wealthy and Those Living in Poverty

With the ever widening gap between the ultra wealthy and those who live in poverty, forces of populism are rapidly gaining momentum in developed countries. For those of us who are not in government nor able to meaningfully influence macroeconomic policies, it feels like the best we can do is strive to be mindful of our personal daily footprints and the impact we are having on those in our local neighbourhoods and communities.

Many thanks to the team who put together the above look at the wealth gap in Hong Kong; a shift toward having more support for egalitarian communities will only occur with greater overall awareness of what everyday life is like for people living at the extreme ends of this widening gap.
