Making Onigiri With Niki and Carol @ N/Naka

In Korean cuisine, we call these balls of flavoured rice "Joo Mohk Bap," which translates to Fist Rice, as each ball of rice is about the size of a small fist.

Before South Korea rose to become the economic powerhouse that it is today, Joo Mohk Bap was a staple in children's lunch boxes. Today, Joo Mohk Bap is making a comeback of sorts with added textures and flavours as shown above.
