The Hardest Thing

My view has long been that a primary determinant of our health is the quality of our relationships.

Conventional education doesn't teach how to share from the heart or how to listen with pure intent to understand.

So here is a suggestion: the next time you and someone you wish to be close with spend time together, try sharing your answers to the following questions:

What is your greatest strength?

What is the hardest thing about being you?

What do you find beautiful?

When sharing, strive to be as truthful as possible.

When listening, strive to feel the other person's reality as they're sharing it.
