The universe is at a 10 constantly - it’s creating and expanding and moving into the next highest version of itself in every single moment. Many people in this world feel disconnected and depressed, and that’s because they’re out of congruence with the expansion of the universe. They’re not allowing the flow of life to clean out all the stagnant past that they are holding on to by constantly growing and evolving.
Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can.”
It is one thing to make a mistake, and quite another thing not to admit it. People will forgive mistakes, because mistakes are usually of the mind, mistakes of judgment. But people will not easily forgive the mistakes of the heart, the ill intention, the bad motives, the prideful justifying cover-up of the first mistake.
We cannot expect our children to become something that we are not willing to embody ourselves.
What conscious parenting does is take away the traditional focus on fixing the child and instead ask the parent to raise themselves, to heal themselves, and enter a stage of wholeness. Because if we as parents are in a place of brokenness, then we project this brokenness onto our children.
To move away from all illusion that our children are maliciously intent on triggering us is an important step on the path of awakening. When we dare to let go of the mainstream idea that they push our buttons on purpose, we awaken to the true extent of our own immaturity. Without having them to blame on any level, we are now forced to confront our inner lack and discover the reasons why it exists.
